Portside Art Fair
Portside has a reputation of displaying both the works of established artists as well as the works of new and innovative young artists. Each year a judge educated in the visual arts selects artwork deemed best of the show.
Because we are sponsored by the East Jordan Historical Society, your time spent with us is free! Donations are accepted at the gate and benefit the Historical Society.
Live entertainment and concessions are available throughout the weekend.

Charlevoix Waterfront Art Fair
On August 9, 2025, top artists and craftsmen from across the nation will showcase their finest creations at the Charlevoix Waterfront Art Fair. Selected from a pool of hundreds of applicants, these works undergo rigorous jury evaluation due to high demand and limited space.
Held annually on the second Saturday of August, the fair attracts over 25,000 art enthusiasts to the scenic resort town nestled between Lake Michigan and Round Lake. As the second oldest juried art fair in Michigan, it promises a rich cultural experience for visitors.

Amy Peterman Art & Briar Rose Fibers at the Art Shanty
The Art Shanty is a pop up space located in the lower level of the historic Ice House in Fishtown, Leland, Michigan. Artists, craftsmen and makers get to be a part of the Fishtown community for a week at a time, from May 27 – Oct 13.
Amy Peterman Fine Art and Briar Rose Fibers will be participating the week of September 24-29. Hours TBA.

Crooked Tree Art Fair
The 64th annual Crooked Tree Art Fair will be held at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center on Saturday, July 26.

49th Annual Harbor Spring Community Schools Fourth of July Art Show
This annual show takes place in the quaint town of Harbor Springs, MI, and supports the Harbor Springs Public Schools. Spring Art Market at the Dennos
The Dennos Museum Center in Traverse City hosts its 4th annual Spring Art Market on May 10th, 2025. This one-day juried art fair will take place indoors in the Sculpture Court, marking the start of the season before summer art fairs begin. Held during Mother's Day weekend, the event will feature special programming, offering a fun-filled experience for visitors of all ages. Admission is free for everyone.

Shop for one-of-a-kind works of art in all styles and media. Ceramic, Painting, Digital, Photography, Jewelry and more are available at this retail shopping experience. You will not be able to find these unique items on Amazon or in big box stores. Wine tasting hosted by Castle Farms will also be available in an adjacent room for an additional fee. Sample great wines from a historic venue.

Art Print Pop-Up
Join us from 10am to 6pm on February 23 in the second floor Greenhouse and Banquet Room for a photography, canvas, and art print pop-up. Celebrate art prints, framed photography, stationery, magnets, bookmarks, stickers, and more at our first ever indoor art market. Enjoy the feast for the eyes, then get a bite to eat from the Market Hall. This event is FREE to attend.

Crooked Tree Arts Center Traverse City Artist Pop-Up
Crooked Tree Arts Center of Traverse City is hosting their annual Merry Marketplace Holiday Gift Gallery from Nov. 9th - Dec. 14th, 2024. For the duration of the marketplace, shoppers will be able to shop from a curated month long Holiday Gift Gallery that features handmade artwork for gifts under $100.
Additionally, they will be hosting two Saturday Artist Pop-Up dates on Nov. 23rd (this is the one I will be at) and Dec. 7th. Shop from a selection of juried artisans in their own Pop-Up Booths in the Carnegie Galleries. Saturday Pop-Ups are from 10am-3pm.

Fallasburg Arts Festival
This event features 100 unique fine art and fine craft booths, food booths, children's craft area, craft demonstrations, and music performed on an outdoor stage. This 2-day arts festival is held in picturesque Fallasburg Park, located approximately 20 miles east of Grand Rapids in Lowell, MI.
