Coming up over the hill and seeing this barn evokes such joy in my soul. But, it’s a barn, you say. And I know! I’m not sure what it is about barns that make me happy. Maybe it’s the simple architecture against soft, natural elements. Maybe it’s the fact that most have weathered the test of time. Maybe barns are hearty reminders that life is good when it’s simple and rewarded by hard work.
